Education Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree plus preparation for ASCP/AMT certification. Certifications ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be acquired within the first year of employment. Maintain active certification through your ongoing career.
