Facilities Technician - Painter

SUMMARY Paints a variety of surfaces utilizing various painting techniques. Power wash surfaces, hang drywall, window glazing. MINIMUIM REQUIREMENTS Six years of experience (journeyman level competency) in various painting techniques or completion of an accredited training program in the trade. Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE FBI fingerprint background check. Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization. Post-offer/pre-employment physical examination and 75 lbs lift test. Valid Arizona Driver's license MVReport - showing no more than the allowable points against Driver's License as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees. COMMENTS Effective: 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR Location: Facilities - Broadway & Kino Parkway Area Classification: Blue Collar FTE: 1.0 - 8 hours per day Work Calendar: 12 month Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language.
