Job Description Job Quick Facts: • Specialty: Hematology & Oncology • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Facility Location: Waterloo, IA • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient • Reason For Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Clinical + Call • Shift Schedule: Mon-Thurs; 8a-430p - 16 shifts/month • Call Schedule: 1 week and 1 weekend/month • Call Type: Phone calls only • Patient Demographics: Adults • Patient Volume: 16-20 (OP); 0-2 (IP) • Time Allotted: 15-20 mins (Follow-up); 60 mins (consults) • Support Staff: - 2 APPs, 2 Nurses, Triage Nurses - SWs, Dietitian, Reception • Case Mix: - Antineoplastics, Phlebotomy, IV IgG - Iron Therapy, Bone Marrow Biopsy • Procedures/Duties: - Consults, Follow-ups - Oversee admin of Antineoplastics (Clinic) • No of Exam Rooms: 4 • Imaging, Lab & Pharmacy on-site • EMR: Epic • Other Info: Hospitalists admit patients • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Requirements: • Active IA License or IMLC • BC • Clean Record • Fellowship-Trained • Must be available FT (Mon-Thurs) • Must be able to perform MUA
