Educational Background A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a similar allied health degree; ASCP/AMT certification preparation is a plus. Certification Requirements ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment.
