Senior BuyerLocation: Multi-site (2 Manufacturing & 1 Fulfillment Facility)Department: Supply ChainReports To: Director of Supply Chain Position OverviewWe are seeking a dependable, experienced Senior Buyer to lead purchasing across our two manufacturing and one fulfillment locations. This role is responsible for sourcing high-quality raw materials, packaging, and supplies-ensuring cost efficiency, regulatory compliance, and supply continuity.Experience in nutraceuticals is strongly preferred, as is experience in food manufacturing. The ideal candidate understands cGMP requirements, supplier qualification standards, and the importance of sourcing from reputable, compliant vendors. This is a hands-on role in a fast-growing company that requires strong ownership, responsiveness, and availability.Key Responsibilities Lead purchasing activities for raw materials, packaging, and production supplies across three facilitiesSource nutraceutical and food-grade ingredients that meet cGMP and regulatory standardsEvaluate, qualify, and maintain relationships with reputable suppliersNegotiate pricing, contracts, lead times, and payment termsMonitor inventory levels and forecast demand to prevent shortages or overstockEnsure supplier documentation meets quality and compliance standards (COAs, specs, audits, etc.)Partner with Quality and Operations to maintain cGMP complianceIdentify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or complianceManage vendor performance metrics and resolve supply chain disruptionsSupport new product launches with timely sourcing and purchase planningMaintain accurate purchasing records and ERP system dataTravel occasionally between facilities as neededQualifications 5+ years of purchasing experience in manufacturingExperience in nutraceuticals strongly preferred, food manufacturing experience highly desirableStrong understanding of cGMP, supplier qualification, and regulatory complianceProven negotiation and cost-control experienceExperience managing multi-location procurementERP/MRP system experience requiredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, growing organizationHigh level of dependability and accountabilityFlexible and available to respond to operational needsKey Traits for Success Detail-oriented and compliance-focusedDecisive and proactiveStrong communicator across departmentsComfortable balancing cost, quality, and speedReliable and consistent follow-through Why Join Us?
