wayne, PA Order: 325477 Order Type : Temp To Full-Time REMOTE ROLEJob Title: Data Steward ResearcherLocation: Remote$21.00 hourlyThe Data Steward Researcher is responsible for maintaining data integrity by verifying and updating healthcare organization (Health Care Organizations and Health Care Providers) records, ensuring accurate hierarchies, and resolving data discrepancies. This role involves proactive research, direct communication with hospitals, and addressing high-priority data quality issues.Key Responsibilities:• Conduct occasional phone calls to hospitals across the U.S. to confirm addresses, hospital affiliations, and healthcare system hierarchies.• Update and clean up records proactively to maintain data accuracy and integrity.• Review hierarchies for every health system, focusing on the top 2-3 levels, and investigate signals related to hierarchy inactivation.• Ensure compliance with new business rules to prevent child entity abandonment when an HCO is inactivated.• Manage high-priority data quality requests (QDRs), including but not limited to: o Identifying and updating prescribers with no physical address.o Resolving prescriber records with missing affiliations or state license numbers (SLNs).o Verifying candidate HCOs with active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registrations.o Addressing duplicate HCO records and ensuring proper resolution.Qualifications & Skills:• Experience in data stewardship, healthcare research, or a related field.• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large datasets with accuracy.• Excellent communication skills, particularly for interacting with hospitals and healthcare organizations.• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to investigate and resolve data discrepancies.• Proficiency in data management tools and software (experience with healthcare databases is a plus).• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.• HS Diploma with at least 2-3 years with related experiencePreferred Qualifications:• Knowledge of healthcare systems, provider affiliations, and regulatory data (DEA, SLN, etc.).• Experience working with hierarchical data structures and business rules for data management.• Familiarity with data governance and quality assurance processes.If you're detail-oriented, proactive, and interested in ensuring the accuracy of healthcare data, we encourage you to apply for this role!
