Loss Prevention Specialist

Position Purpose: The Loss Prevention Specialist plays a critical role in safeguarding our company assets by minimizing financial losses due to theft and fraud. You will work proactively to support safety and environmental compliance across our stores, employing various tools to detect and prevent loss. Your responsibilities include: Identifying incidents of theft and fraud Reviewing CCTV footage and exception reports Monitoring physical security within the store Auditing Electronic Article Surveillance systems Promoting a shrink elimination culture among team members Preparing detailed case reports on apprehensions and recoveries Preserving evidence and collaborating with law enforcement Testifying in both criminal and civil court matters As a Loss Prevention Specialist, you must report any hazardous conditions to the Manager on Duty and undertake your job responsibilities in a manner that safeguards yourself, your colleagues, vendors, customers, and the organization as a whole. Integrity, strong communication regarding asset protection and operational concerns, and a focus on business objectives are essential for this role.
