JR110936 Schedule: Night shift, 7p -7a Salary range: XX26.65-$42.65 Sign-on: XX15K; Tuition: XX10K Job Description: Job Requirements Education Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program. Experience 1-2 years of experience working as a CT Technologist, or; Successful completion of a CT Externship through an approved CT school, or; Board certified as a Radiologic Technologist, (ARRT) required. License/Certifications American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (RT.R.ARRT) certification in Radiography required. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (RT.CT.ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography required. Technologists who have completed clinical training and are Computed Tomography (CT) Board eligible will be considered with the understanding that the advanced board certification is required within 12 months of hire, or: New technologists who require clinical training to become Computed Tomography (CT) board eligible will be considered with the understanding that the advanced board certification is required within 12 months at the completion of clinical training. Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) strongly preferred at time of hire, required within 3 months of hire. Current Medical Radiographer license for work state (RAD.NE or RAD.IA) required. Skills/Knowledge/Abilities Strong interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with hospital personnel, patients, co-workers, and the public. Required to perform venipuncture for injections and IV management for power injector use. Knowledge of other modalities or willing to gain knowledge of other modalities as requested for the potential of cross-training opportunities. Proficient with working with patients of all ages (infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adult and elderly.) Ability to perform numerous tasks at once, prioritize workload and organize workflow. Must be able follow established Universal Standard and Radiation Safety precautions. Position requires flexibility to accommodate fluctuation in daily schedule, including but not limited to overtime, irregular hours and on-call responsibilities.
