Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Parts Specialist, where you'll play a key role in driving the success of our commercial business. This is a professional sales position where your expertise in automotive systems and parts will be crucial in retaining and growing our customer base. You'll collaborate with the General Manager to lead and support team members, ensuring we meet and exceed our service goals. Primary Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial customers. Provide an exceptional GAS2 selling experience to commercial clients. Achieve personal and store sales targets while delivering excellent service. Offer day-to-day supervisory guidance to team members. Work closely with the GM to identify coaching and development opportunities for staff. Oversee the dispatch of drivers to ensure timely deliveries. Manage commercial stocking programs effectively. Develop and maintain a network of secondary source suppliers. Secondary Responsibilities Monitor core bank and commercial returns. Handle commercial credit accounts efficiently. Collaborate with GM for proper driver coverage. Success Factors Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to locate, stock, and manage parts effectively. Strong safety knowledge and skills. Proficient in operating inventory systems and store equipment. In-depth knowledge of automotive systems and parts. Ability to operate POS and parts lookup systems. ASE P2 certified or equivalent is preferred. Strong advanced selling techniques for commercial customers. Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities. Problem-solving and effective listening skills. Essential Skills for Success Working knowledge of various automotive systems including engines, suspension, and brakes. Strong communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus). Ability to read and interpret technical documents and manuals. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel). Solid understanding of commercial profitability concepts. Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends. Prior Experience for Success A minimum of 3 years of automotive parts experience is preferred. Demonstrated sales success in fulfilling customer transactions. Leadership experience in supervising teams and achieving goals. Education High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Certificates and Licenses ASE certification is preferred but not required. Physical Demands This role requires physical activity including walking, standing, and occasionally lifting up to 100 pounds. Candidates should be able to work in various weather conditions when performing outdoor tasks. Work Environment The work environment is mainly indoors with occasional outdoor work. Employees may encounter moving mechanical parts and various weather conditions. Position is eligible for sales commission based on performance. Compensation Range The estimated pay for this role is between $19.95 and $21.95 per hour, based on experience and geographic location.
