Key Responsibilities: Create detailed part drawings using AutoCAD or similar CAD software. Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for efficient production. Design and specify tooling, tool holders, and machining components. Collaborate with production leadership to anticipate raw material needs based on project timelines. Assist in preparing customer quotes, ensuring technical accuracy and cost effectiveness. Diagnose customer issues and provide engineered solutions based on technical requirements. Collaborate with shop floor teams to automate processes and reduce manual tasks. Support ongoing improvement initiatives to minimize cycle times, material waste, and redundant processes. Team Leadership: Manage, motivate, and develop plant staff while fostering teamwork and accountability. Quality and Compliance: Ensure adherence to ISO quality standards and enforce rigorous quality control measures. Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, including OSHA standards. Oversee corrective actions related to quality or safety issues. Qualifications: Proficient in AutoCAD or similar CAD software. Strong knowledge of CNC programming, machining operations, and G-code fundamentals. Experience with tooling selection and machining best practices. Able to forecast materials and manage supply needs for machining operations. Experience in preparing quotes or estimates for machined components. Excellent problem-solving skills for addressing customer technical challenges. Familiarity with manufacturing workflows and shop floor processes. Previous experience in bearing manufacturing is a plus, but not required. Willingness to lead by example and engage hands-on in daily operations. Benefits: Training on specific production methods.
