Overview GovCIO is seeking a skilled Zscaler Solutions Expert to elevate our client's operational efficiency. This fully remote role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in groundbreaking projects focused on network security and cloud technology. Responsibilities Deliver expert operational support, maintenance, and engineering for the complete suite of Zscaler products (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX, ZCC) in a live environment. Configure and fine-tune Zscaler systems to ensure optimal performance and effective alerting. Leverage your expertise to troubleshoot and resolve intricate networking and security challenges related to Zscaler solutions. Guide customers on utilizing the extensive features and security capabilities of Zscaler. Maintain compliance with security standards, policies, and best practices regarding IT systems and data protection. Collaborate with various teams to seamlessly integrate Zscaler with existing networks, firewalls, external vendors, and server infrastructures for outstanding technical support. Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including network diagrams and security policies. Train and mentor internal teams on best practices and security configurations associated with Zscaler. Work closely with Zscaler Technical Support to escalate and resolve technical issues efficiently. Assist in designing and implementing Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) strategies utilizing Zscaler technologies. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree along with 5 - 8 years of experience in network engineering or a related field. 5+ years of experience in network security, cloud security, or pertinent areas. A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Zscaler deployments in a professional support environment. Proficiency in deploying and managing Zscaler ZIA, ZPA, ZDX, and ZTA for large enterprises. Strong knowledge of Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA). Experience in deploying and managing App Connectors and Branch Connectors. Familiarity with Zscaler's cloud architecture and security services. In-depth understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, and DNS. Solid grasp of network and cybersecurity fundamentals. Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices. Experience with cloud service providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Familiarity with Trusted Internet Connections (TIC). Basic knowledge of MPLS and WAN routing principles. Fundamental understanding of IPv4 and IPv6 protocols. Awareness of Zero Trust principles and Secure Web Gateway (SWG) architectures. Exceptional collaboration skills with the ability to work independently on projects. Clearance Required: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain HUD Public Trust. Preferred Skills and Experience Certifications such as Zscaler Digital Transformation Administrator (ZDTA), Zscaler Digital Transformation Engineer (ZDTE), or Zscaler Digital Experience Administrator (ZDXA) are a plus. Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages like Python, Ansible, or Terraform. Network and security certifications will be advantageous.
