The CDL Class A Driver (2nd shift) position in our Kingston, PA facility supports the laundry by providing courteous, professional linen and garment delivery to our partners in the healthcare community. The starting hourly rate for this position is $29.70/hr. What you will be doing: Operate tractor-trailer and straight truck delivery vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies. Load and unload laundry carts on and off the vehicle. Pre and post-trip inspections and shipment verifications and report any mechanical issues. Keep vehicle clean, organized, and stocked with necessary tools and supplies. Deliver clean linen to local hospitals and health care facilities and pick up soiled linens. Jockey before and after each run as needed What you will bring to the role: High school diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years of previous driving experience are required. CDL Class A, DOT Medical card, and experience driving a tractor-trailer and straight truck delivery vehicles are all required. Excellent communication (verbal) skills. Strong time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Additional information: This position is based in Kingston, PA. and will be responsible for working weekends and a flexible schedule with varying hours. This position requires flexible availability for the first 3 weeks during the training period. After training, this will be a 2nd shift role.
