THIS POSITION MAY BE ELIGIBLE FOR A HYBRID WORK SCHEDULE. THE AMOUNT OF TELEWORK IS AT THE DISCRETION OF THE DEPARTMENT AND IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE AS BUSINESS NEEDS ARISE. The Employment Program Manager III (EPM III) serves as a Section Manager/Alternate Manager of an Unemployment Insurance Center providing leadership, coaching and management of the EPM-Is, EPM-IIs, and administrative personnel as assigned. The EPM III will model the mission, vision, and values of the Department and of the Branch in interactions with internal and external customers. The position requires the selected candidate to be knowledgeable in the Unemployment Insurance (UI) program and UI system in order to plan, coordinate, direct, supervise and evaluate the activities of multiple units that handle Determinations, Claims Filing and Information Services to UI customers and employers. The EPM III is responsible for managing additional functions/production of the UI Center including Appeals, Adjustments, Overpayments, Payment Authorization, Clerical Work and Quality Control. The EPM III is also responsible for overseeing and monitoring the accuracy of office attendance and payroll as well as effectively handling personnel issues and promoting staff development plans.
