Position Summary As a Telecommunications Installation Technician, you will be essential to our mission by installing, maintaining, and upgrading cable systems while addressing service issues reported by clients promptly. Your primary aim will be to guarantee the optimal functionality of cable systems through troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance. Primary Responsibilities/Tasks: Efficiently complete scheduled installations, disconnects, and maintenance activities on cable, broadband, and telephony systems. Work in various environments, including high and confined spaces, executing tasks that may require ladder climbing. Proactively troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues as they arise. Collaborate with team members and manage work orders, forms, and reports accurately. Effectively maintain and manage stock issued for job tasks. Adhere strictly to company and OSHA safety regulations. Adapt to changing workloads to meet business demands. Exhibit professionalism and positivity during public interactions. Utilize communication devices effectively to fulfill responsibilities. Demonstrate commitment to quality in your work and take pride in results. Perform daily data entry for completed tasks. Candidate Requirements: Must have a clean personal vehicle (truck, van, or SUV), suitable for carrying a 28 ft ladder (ladder rack may be provided). A valid driver's license, registration, and auto insurance are mandatory (DMV records will be verified). Exemplary time management skills are essential. Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check. Physically capable of performing all job functions. Maintain organization and a professional appearance. Basic computer skills are necessary. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are required. Efficiently communicate with Supervisors/Management and staff through various channels. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Capable of multitasking, prioritizing, decision-making, and meeting deadlines. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors. Familiarity with hand tools is a plus. Must not have a fear of heights. Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed. Maintain a positive work attitude at all times. Pay: $17.75/hr + weekly incentives + mileage reimbursement. The average hourly rate after incentives could reach up to $28/hr. Upon completing the initial PAID TRAINING CLASS, you'll receive all necessary tools to excel in this role.
