Position Summary Join our team as a Shift Leader, where you will be pivotal in creating an outstanding guest experience while empowering your team to excel. You will support the General Manager in developing the next generation of leaders, helping them succeed and thrive in their careers. Essential Job Functions Assist the Restaurant Manager in supervising a team that delivers outstanding results in quality, guest service, food cost, labor cost, safety, security, cleanliness, and product preparation. Manage shifts while supporting the execution of all company policies, procedures, programs, and systems. Understand all work station functions and necessary paperwork for monitoring restaurant operations. Supervise a team of 1 to 7 members, ensuring objectives are met while adhering to company guidelines. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, as well as ethical business practices. Help create an 'Employer of Choice' environment with the Restaurant Manager. Provide leadership, direction, training, and development to the restaurant team. Assist in making staffing decisions, including interviews and disciplinary actions. Deliver effective results across all areas, including quality, guest service, safety, and cleanliness. Exhibit a cheerful and helpful demeanor. Demonstrate a complete understanding of menu items and effectively explain them to guests. Utilize the Point of Sale system to record orders, compute totals, and manage payments. Maintain adherence to proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards. Follow all company operational policies and procedures. Recommend enhancements for restaurant operations. Maintain a professional appearance and grooming standards. Attend business meetings for training and development as required. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 1-2 years of experience in a quick-service restaurant environment with a proven track record of ensuring guest satisfaction. Ability to collaborate effectively with management and staff to provide excellent service. Capability to multitask and follow through effectively. Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead a team toward achieving organizational goals. General knowledge of computers, POS systems, and basic business math, including cash handling. Excellent organizational skills for managing records, reports, and logs. Ability to identify safety hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards, including OSHA regulations. Strong communication skills to build effective relationships with colleagues, managers, and the public. Experience in implementing training and development plans for staff. Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking effectively in English. Open availability to work any shifts as needed. Willingness to perform additional responsibilities as assigned, adapting to changing circumstances. Experience, Education & Training Valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance are required. 1-2 years of experience in a quick service restaurant or guest service industry in a supervisory role or equivalent combination is preferred. Food Handler's certification may be required. Ability to stand and walk for 95-100% of the shift, with the ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds. Pay Range: $21.75 - $22.75
