Assistant Restaurant Manager

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our drive-in restaurant alongside the General Manager. Your key responsibilities will include: Managing, training, and mentoring Team Members, Carhops, and Skating Carhops. Assigning tasks and guiding employees to maintain operational standards in food service. Ensuring adherence to the employee handbook and company policies. Performing opening and closing duties for the restaurant. Monitoring staffing and inventory levels while managing food costs. Conducting weekly inventory checks as necessary. Assisting with administrative tasks, maintaining records and documentation. Fostering a customer service mindset with all team members, promptly addressing guest requests and resolving complaints. Requirements: We are looking for candidates who: Can work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Have a general understanding of the restaurant or retail industry. Possess at least six months of experience in restaurant management or one year of retail management experience. Can run shifts independently with effective communication skills and basic math, reading, and computer abilities. Are capable of following directions and working autonomously while multitasking and solving problems. Are willing to adhere to SONIC's appearance, uniform, and hygiene standards.
