STEM Teacher

Position Type: Elem.Teacher(K-5) (Licensed Positions) Date Posted: 2/24/2026 Location: Wesley Chapel Elementary STEM Teacher - K-5 licensure required, STEM or other elementary experience preferred K-5 STEM teacher will conduct science, technology, engineering, and math lessons as a part of our specials area rotation. Teacher pay scale applies. As a PBL (Problem Based Learning) school, the STEM teacher will be fusing PBL throughout STEM lessons and activities for all students. Teacher will be expected to adhere to the NC Standard Course of Study when planning and teaching lessons. Our STEM teacher must take initiative, be resourceful, and be creative in securing and creating resources. In addition, essential functions include but are not limited to: Provide high-quality lessons that help students grow problem solving and leadership abilities Organize existing resources and solicit donations for additional needed resources Become a valuable member of our specials area PLC Collaborate with other STEM Lab Teachers in UCPS Attend professional development Communicate with colleagues and administration as needed Follow individualized student support plans, such as IEPs or 504s, when required Provide information to parents or guardians regarding academic progress of students Implement school's emergency procedures as needed Email if interested.
