Are you looking for a fantastic opportunity with THREE DAY WEEKENDS? Relocation Assistance is available! We are seeking skilled CNC Machinists and CNC Grinders for a rewarding position with an established client. This role features a unique schedule of 4 days a week, working Monday through Thursday from 2 PM to 12:30 AM. If you have experience in CNC Milling, Lathe Turning, or Grinding, we want to hear from you! Job Overview: As a CNC Setup Operator, you will safely and accurately operate CNC machinery to carry out various tasks. Your expertise will be crucial for efficiently shaping and handling materials that are challenging to work with manually or using conventional equipment. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring safety compliance while maintaining precision and quality in your work. Your goal is to produce top-notch parts and materials by effectively setting up machines for optimal performance. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and operate CNC machines for tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, and turning. Read blueprints and mechanical drawings to understand the specifications of each task. Convert instructions into computer commands for machine operations. Load raw materials and parts onto CNC machines efficiently. Conduct preliminary test runs to verify that outputs meet specified standards. Set machines for full cycles to enhance production efficiency. Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments for quality output. Inspect final products against requirements to ensure accuracy and quality. Perform daily maintenance on machinery to guarantee proper functionality. Requirements and Skills: Proven experience as a CNC operator. Ability to edit commands directly at the machine using G&M codes. Skilled in operating CNC machinery and familiar with precision measurement tools. Capable of reading and interpreting mechanical documents and drawings. Basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM is highly desirable. Experienced with First Article Inspections (FAI). Ability to operate within tolerances down to .0005 of an inch. Strong mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills. A keen attention to detail and a results-oriented approach. Effective communication skills. High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in engineering or a related field are a plus. Salary Range: Compensation is competitive, ranging from $27 to $40 per hour based on experience, along with excellent benefits. Relocation assistance is available!
