The Opportunity Our Consulting risk services aim to offer clients a transparent and trustworthy perspective on their risk landscape. In our Cloud Risk services, we focus on developing a proactive cloud risk framework and oversight mechanisms to ensure consistent and sustainable use of public cloud resources across various operational sectors. Your Key Responsibilities Manage multiple client engagement teams while collaborating with high-level client personnel to assess and enhance information systems that support internal control processes. Provide guidance to clients and fellow Risk Assurance professionals in conducting IT control and security evaluations. Share knowledge with team members and contribute to developing plans that meet engagement objectives while navigating complex and specialized issues. Maintain strong client relationships to manage service expectations regarding deliverables and timelines. Utilize your deep knowledge of industry-specific IT trends to identify technological advancements and assess their implications for clients' businesses. Exhibit strong project management skills, foster teamwork, and leverage contemporary technologies to improve service effectiveness. Collaborate with clients to establish and implement cloud risk governance frameworks that align with their organizational objectives and comply with regulatory standards. Lead discussions focused on cloud transformation initiatives, including onboarding clients from on-premises setups. Work alongside technical EY teams to spearhead cloud risk monitoring efforts employing advanced tools to proactively manage risks across different cloud service models and deployments. Design and evaluate robust control mechanisms for cloud environments, ensuring their effectiveness in risk mitigation and compliance maintenance. Qualifications A bachelor's or master's degree. At least 5 years of experience as an IT auditor or IT risk advisor in a public accounting firm, professional services, or industry. Significant experience in applying technical expertise in engagements such as financial audits, internal audits, Service Organization Controls Reporting, ERP security and control reviews, or cloud risk engagements. Willingness to travel more than 50% of the time and commute within the region, often where public transport is limited. Candidates should be prepared for extended work hours when necessary and possess a valid passport. Desired Attributes A degree in business, accounting, finance, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field. Certifications such as CPA, CA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CBCP, CIA, CIPP, or CGEIT are preferred; non-certified candidates must achieve certification within the first year of employment. Additional cloud-focused certifications, like CCSP, CCSK, CCAK, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, are highly regarded. The salary range for this role generally spans from $110,500 to $202,700, with higher ranges in specific locations.
