Position Details: Location: St. Joseph's Women's Hospital 3030 West Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Tampa, FL 33607 Status: Full-Time Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM or 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM On Call: Yes Always in person Summary: The Operating Room Charge RN responsibilities include: Proficient in the care of a sub-specialty group of patients utilizing effective managerial skills Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team Is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization Acts as a mentor and resource expert, supports and shares organizational information to all team members Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned For this position, we strongly prefer at least 2 years RN experience in the Operating Room. Charge or Service Line Coordinator experience preferred. This position is a Service Line Coordinator role focused on the Robotics Service Line in the Operating Room. This position can be either 6:30am-3pm or 6:30am-5pm. Specific Skills: Clinical skills appropriate to position Interpersonal skills Certifications and Licensures: BLS (Basic Life Support) RN (Registered Nurse) ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department Preferred Nurse Specialty Education: Bachelor's Nursing or Bachelor's Science in related field or RN Certification in related field Experience : Required includes 2 years acute care experience or 2 years Interventional/Procedural Preferred Experience includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship.
