Guest Experience Associate

JOB SUMMARY The Guest Experience Associate is dedicated to providing a warm welcome and sincere farewell to every guest. Utilizing our Table Management System (TMS), this role involves seating guests and supporting the service team to ensure a delightful dining experience for all. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Utilize the TMS system effectively to manage the seating flow of guests, including the Wait and Reservation Lists. Maintain a friendly, welcoming demeanor while fostering a collaborative team environment. Warmly greet guests and assign them to their tables; communicate wait times politely and manage expectations. Inform guests about current features and promotions, assisting with menu inquiries and suggestions. Address any guest concerns promptly and relay them to the Manager. Support team members by delivering food and beverages, assisting with pre-bussing, and offering refills as needed. Set up and maintain the server assistant station and lobby area, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness. Answer inquiries over the phone with a courteous and friendly attitude. Ensure accuracy when managing takeout orders and bagging items accordingly. As guests leave, provide a friendly farewell and actively seek feedback on their experience. Monitor the status of tables, keeping track of clean, dirty, and unoccupied tables; clean as necessary. Accommodate guests' needs, including refilling beverages and providing silverware. Perform cleaning duties around the dining area as required. Other related responsibilities as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Must be at least 16 years old. No prior work experience required. Ability to understand and deliver excellent guest service. Familiarity with proper food handling techniques and compliance with relevant regulations. Capability to handle cash transactions and process payments accurately. Proficient with computers, calculators, phones, and typical office equipment. Strong attention to detail, along with effective organizational and time management skills. Consistent professional behavior, with strong listening and communication skills. Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while remaining adaptable and efficient. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This position requires regular attendance, standing or walking for extended periods, and performing physical tasks such as bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and maintaining cleanliness. Candidates should be prepared for varying temperatures and frequent hand contact with water and cleaning solutions.
