General Purpose: This role provides a prominent presence at store entrances and exits to deter theft and fraud while maintaining a safe environment for customers and associates. You will engage with customers through eye contact and friendly greetings while monitoring for potential theft or safety issues in a visible manner. Essential Functions: Maintaining a Safe Environment: Prioritize safety practices and assist store leadership in promoting a secure atmosphere. Building Great Teams: Deliver excellent customer service and treat everyone with respect while fostering positive relationships. Mitigating Theft: Monitor for suspicious behavior and communicate theft indicators to store leadership effectively. Minimizing Operational Shortage: Educate associates on loss prevention best practices and observe checkout procedures. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required; AA degree preferred. One year of experience in retail supervision preferred. Prior training in loss prevention/safety preferred. Active Security Guard License preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships. Physical Requirements: Regular attendance is crucial, and candidates must be able to stand or walk for the majority of their shift. Must be capable of lifting objects over 25 lbs and bending or crouching as necessary. This position does not have supervisory responsibilities and is an excellent entry-level opportunity to grow within our organization.
