This is a remote position open to applicants nationwide. About You We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven leader to manage and enhance revenue cycle management operations across a diverse set of clients. Your role as the Director of Revenue Cycle Operations will focus on developing streamlined policies and procedures for revenue cycles and facility business offices. You will play a critical part in ensuring effective insurance billing, follow-up, cash posting, and adherence to applicable federal and state regulations. About The Position Serve as a direct liaison with clients, working closely with the Senior Director of Revenue Cycle Operations. Assist in formulating revenue cycle and facility business office policies and procedures. Act as an internal consultant for revenue cycle management issues. Participate in budget planning and ongoing maintenance. Oversee the efficient functioning of all revenue cycle operations, applying best practices for peak performance. Track and analyze Key Performance Indicators to maximize revenue cycle outcomes. Develop initiatives to improve reimbursement processes. Guide process enhancements for your management team. Collaborate with team members to design and implement standardized revenue cycle training programs. Lead quality initiatives, production standards, and compliance efforts related to revenue cycle functions. Minimal travel may be required in accordance with Signature Performance Travel Policies and Procedures. Undertake other related responsibilities as assigned. Minimum Requirements: Education: A Bachelor's degree or higher is preferred; relevant experience will be considered. Certifications Required: CRCR, CHRI, or other pertinent certifications. Experience: Minimum of 10 years in commercial medical claims billing and patient accounting, along with 10 years of knowledge regarding insurance contracts and EOBs. At least 3-5 years of management experience in a hospital business office, focusing on billing and insurance follow-up is required. Experience supervising offshore operations and working within large healthcare systems, as well as familiarity with MediTech, NexGen, or Athena, is essential. Experience in patient financial services reporting, Medicare and Medicaid billing, and Central Business Office (CBO) operations. Strong understanding of medical coding best practices and billing procedures, complemented by superior analytical and interpersonal skills. Capability to effectively manage financial records, generate reports, and work autonomously.
