Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced Manager of Data Engineering to lead our efforts in creating advanced cloud analytics solutions, with a focus on utilizing Databricks. In this influential role, you will leverage your expertise in data architecture and analytics to deliver significant business outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. Design and implement scalable data architectures and modeling solutions. Engage with clients regularly, facilitating collaboration to identify service improvement opportunities. Lead the execution of complex technical initiatives, ensuring quality and strategic alignment. Manage resource planning, budgets, and the economics of engagements. This is an exciting role where you'll tackle innovative challenges and guide others as you interpret and recommend quality solutions to internal and external issues. Regular travel may be required based on client needs. Skills and Attributes for Success: Expert in designing scalable data engineering solutions using Databricks across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Ability to ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout all processes. Proficient in driving end-to-end data pipeline development, including data ingestion, transformation, and storage. Strong communication skills to convey complex data concepts to diverse audiences. Experience leading and mentoring teams, fostering an inclusive and innovative culture. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field required; Master's degree preferred. 4-6 years of relevant experience in data engineering focused on cloud solutions. Expertise in Databricks and experience with Spark for big data processing. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or SQL.
