Compensation & Benefits Compensation: Up to $95,000 per year, based on experience Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligibility Relocation Assistance: $1,000 (in-state) | $3,000 (out-of-state) Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and pharmacy plans (eligible after 90 days) Company-paid life insurance (equal to 1x salary) and long-term disability Voluntary short-term disability and additional life insurance options 4 weeks of PTO per year (pro-rated in the first year) 9.5 paid holidays annually, including birthday and floating holiday Up to 4 CME days annually (prorated by hire date) Up to $1,800/year in CME reimbursement (after 90 days) 401(k) with up to 3.5% company match (after 1 year of service) Annual performance-based appraisals Productivity recognized and rewarded Responsibilities & Performance Expectations Conduct thorough nutrition assessments for pediatric patients with endocrine disorders Develop and monitor personalized nutrition care plans, including carbohydrate counting, meal planning, and lifestyle modifications Interpret medical data (lab values, histories) to guide nutrition interventions Provide age-appropriate and culturally sensitive educational materials and counseling Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care Educate the healthcare team on nutrition management for pediatric endocrine conditions Engage in community outreach programs, health fairs, school screenings, and health initiatives Maintain precise and complete documentation in the electronic health record Participate in performance improvement activities, research, and continuous quality initiatives Ensure compliance with HIPAA, infection control, ADA, Joint Commission, and other regulatory standards Uphold a professional appearance and conduct at all times Minimum Qualifications Certification as a Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CBDCE) Registered Dietitian status with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR); bachelor's degree in human nutrition, food and nutrition, dietetics, or food management Knowledge of pediatric endocrine disorders, diabetes management, and relevant clinical guidelines Experience in pediatric endocrinology is preferred Completion of the American Dietetic Association (ADA) approved Standards of Education Current Florida Licensed Dietitian status with the Dietetics and Nutrition Practice Council Insurability (malpractice coverage) BLS certification Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred If you are dedicated to enhancing the lives of patients affected by endocrine conditions, and you seek a role that offers both professional challenge and the chance to contribute to community health initiatives, we encourage you to apply.
