Become an integral part of our mission to enhance health outcomes! The Finance Special Projects Manager will spearhead vital process improvement initiatives within our Finance team. You will collaborate closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional teams to identify, design, and implement innovative solutions aimed at streamlining operations and boosting efficiency. We are seeking a proactive individual who can cultivate collaboration and disseminate best practices across the Finance sector, contributing significantly to our strategic and operational achievements. This role includes travel to our headquarters in Louisville at least once per month. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and their application in Finance, focused on enhancements driven by innovative process design. Lead and implement special projects that cover benchmarking, process redesign, automation opportunities, and reporting improvements. Work alongside Finance teams and key stakeholders to assess current processes, recommend solutions, and drive initiatives to successful outcomes. Facilitate collaboration and share best practices across Finance, acting as a bridge between teams to ensure alignment and foster continuous improvement. Develop project timelines, supervise tasks, and monitor progress to guarantee the timely realization of process improvement goals. Assist in change management by creating training materials, communications, and programs to enhance organizational capabilities. Prepare reports and presentations that effectively communicate project results and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders. Track and report on key performance indicators and value metrics for process improvement projects. Utilize your skills to drive significant change! Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred. 6+ years of experience in benchmarking, process improvement, project management, or transformation initiatives within Finance or similar fields. 2+ years of experience in project leadership. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to synthesize complex information and communicate effectively with diverse audiences. Familiarity with process design methodologies, automation technologies, and reporting tools is advantageous. Exceptional interpersonal and collaborative skills. Experience in the healthcare industry or similarly regulated sectors is preferred. A genuine passion for contributing to an organization focused on enhancing consumer experiences. Additional Information Travel: While this role is primarily remote, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be necessary. Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Pay Range The compensation range outlined below is an estimate of starting base pay for full-time employment (40 hours per week) at the time of posting. Actual pay may vary depending on geographic location, skills, experience, education, certifications, etc. $94,900 - $130,500 per year This role is also eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
