Position Type: Special Education - Classified Date Posted: 2/9/2026 Location: Special Education Closing Date: Open Until Filled Work Day Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM TITLE: Augmentative and Alternative Communication Specialist CLASSIFICATION: Classified Managers/Confidentials REPORTS TO: Assistant Superintendent of Special Education EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Assistive Technology Certificate preferred or progress towards it Speech Language Pathology Certificate preferred Credential and/or Master's Degree in a special education related field required BASIC FUNCTION: Works with staff and other Districts as directed, under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent of Special Education. Conduct assessments, provide recommendations, organize and implement Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) services for children and young adults with disabilities.
