Industry Biotechnology Type Privately Held About the Role We are looking for a strategic and dynamic Vice President of Clinical Operations to lead the development and execution of clinical strategies aligned with our mission. This leadership role involves mentoring a high-performing team, overseeing global trial execution, and ensuring rigorous compliance with GCP, ICH guidelines, and all relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader, skilled in engaging cross-functional teams and providing clear executive-level reporting. You should have a strong background managing global Phase I-III trials, particularly in rare disease or specialty therapeutic areas. Successful applicants will hold a degree in life sciences or a related field, with a preference for PhD, PharmD, or MD qualifications. A minimum of 15 years of experience in clinical operations is required, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership position. The perfect fit will possess in-depth regulatory knowledge, operational best practices, and exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking abilities. This role demands expertise in ensuring that clinical programs are executed on time and within budget, as well as skills in vendor selection, contract negotiations, and performance management.
