Senior Cloud Engineer

The Cloud Engineer will support the Army Next Generation Command and Control mission at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) in Maryland. This project requires a TS/SCI clearance and is a full-time onsite position at that location within SCIF. The cloud engineer will collaborate with data engineers, systems integration engineers and other cloud platform engineers. Job Responsibilities: Support existing Cloud capabilities on a commercial and edge-based cloud Design and support services for authorization, authentication, CICD pipelines Deign and operate services for continuous ATO Integrate and operate services with 3rd party vendors including Anduril and Palantir Optimize code for high availability in edge computing and data mesh operations Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant technical field TS/SCI Security Clearance Experience with AWS or similar Experience with highly scalable microservice ecosystems Experience with edge-deployed services. High bandwidth APIs and data ingest Strong interpersonal skills for working within a broad technical team and with customers Ability to communicate technical details of work Ability to work in a dynamic environment and take ownership for segments of a project Ability to build & optimize build pipelines Desired Experience Experience with Anduril and Palantir data mesh APIs.
