You will help create a positive and productive workplace while ensuring compliance with legal and company policies. Your responsibilities will include overseeing employment activities such as staffing, performance coaching records, benefit administration, and training coordination. Cultivate positive associate relations through effective communication and a supportive work culture. Act as an ambassador for our company values and deliver a welcoming experience to all stakeholders. Review job applications to determine candidate qualifications and fit. Conduct initial phone screenings to assess skills and experience. Coordinate interviews for candidates and store management to ensure a seamless experience. Facilitate new hire onboarding for a smooth integration into the company. Engage in community events to enhance recruitment efforts. Oversee accurate associate records management in our Human Capital Management system. Assist with employee benefits administration and enrollment processes. Facilitate training sessions on workplace policies and associate development. Support performance management through goal setting and evaluations. Serve as a reliable contact for associates, addressing inquiries efficiently. Collaborate with HR partners and store management on policies and initiatives. Maintain clear and updated associate communication regarding programs and benefits. Manage the safety program by maintaining incident files and conducting audits. Uphold a high standard of confidentiality regarding company and associate matters. Communicate professionally and regularly with the Store Support Center. Utilize office equipment and tools effectively. Participate in cross-training for flexibility across departments. Qualifications for Success To excel in this role, you should possess: A minimum of 2 years of human resources experience or equivalent educational background. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities. Strong customer service orientation. A demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently. High attention to detail and a commitment to quality work. Interpersonal skills to build rapport and collaborate effectively with diverse individuals. Capacity for adaptability in the face of shifting priorities. Confidence in using computer systems and software. A growth mindset focused on continuous learning and development. Physical Requirements Candidates must be able to: Remain in a seated or standing position for extended periods. Lift, push, or pull at least 30 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Navigate all facilities comfortably. Clearly communicate both in person and via electronic means. Utilize close vision for extended computer work.
