Key Responsibilities: Develop a comprehensive strategic roadmap for AI integration throughout the software lifecycle, covering requirements, design, implementation, testing, and observability. Establish responsible AI usage policies and guidelines to ensure ethical practices. Design and enhance core services utilizing Java 17+, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Helidon. Modernize legacy components, supporting AI-friendly approaches by enhancing documentation and creating type-safe APIs. Facilitate the integration of AI tools for IDE enhancements, pair programming, and code review processes. Establish best practices for AI-generated code, ensuring proper oversight and auditability. Implement innovative methodologies for AI-driven test case generation, mutation testing, and automated exploratory testing. Leverage AI to identify flaky tests, optimize test execution, and automate test data generation. Apply AI solutions for optimizing pipeline processes, intelligent build caching, and root cause analysis. Automate critical rollback decisions and improve anomaly detection with observability AI tools. Foster a culture of continuous learning and data-driven decision-making, promoting AI as a collaborative asset. Collaborate closely with security teams to ensure AI tools meet data privacy, regulatory, and security standards. Conduct regular AI risk assessments and integrate findings into our software security assurance practices. Participate in Kanban ceremonies, code reviews, and architecture boards, offering insights centered on AI.
