Position Overview: Join a seasoned accounting team and take on a leadership role managing financial operations and department oversight with a clear path for advancement. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and develop a department to ensure operational excellence and professional growth. • Manage quarterly closings, financial statement preparation, and audit support. • Strengthen internal controls and optimize accounting workflows. • Collaborate with executives and IT to improve financial systems and reporting. • Oversee job costing, subcontractor payments, and contract revenue management. • Leverage Vista (Trimble) and Excel for data analysis and reporting. Qualifications: • CPA certification (or in progress). • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred. • 5-7+ years in accounting, preferably in construction (heavy civil is a plus). • Strong leadership and team management experience. • Proactive, adaptable, and highly communicative across all levels. • Previous management experience preferred.
