Restaurant General Manager

As the Restaurant General Manager, you will: Inspire and lead Crew/Team members, Carhops, and Skating Carhops through effective training and coaching Oversee restaurant operations, ensuring adherence to food service standards and guest satisfaction Enforce employee compliance with our employee handbook and operational policies Handle restaurant opening and closing duties efficiently Create and manage employee work schedules, making adjustments as necessary for optimal staffing Maintain inventory levels and order supplies while adhering to cost control procedures Manage employee records and payroll consistently Foster a customer-centric approach, addressing guest requests respectfully and promptly Recruit and hire qualified restaurant crew and managers to ensure proper staffing Prepare operational reports and implement action plans to address financial or sales issues Devise and execute marketing strategies to increase restaurant visibility and sales Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; advanced studies in business or restaurant management preferred At least two years of management experience in a restaurant setting (QSR is a plus) Availability to work a minimum 5-day workweek with flexible shifts including nights and weekends Knowledge of recruiting and employee selection processes Familiarity with labor laws and health regulations Strong leadership skills with effective communication abilities Basic accounting knowledge and computer proficiency Capable of following directions while also managing tasks independently Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution capabilities Commitment to maintaining SONIC’s uniform and hygiene standards If you're ready to lead a team in creating a fun and fast-paced environment while ensuring customers enjoy their experience, we want to hear from you!
