As the Project Manager for our Water/Wastewater team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-priority and complex projects that often involve collaboration across multiple teams. Your leadership will ensure that our projects are executed with excellence, leading to high-quality, sustainable solutions for engineering and design challenges. In this role, you will oversee and mentor team members, contributing to their professional growth and fostering a culture of collaboration and skill development. Primary Responsibilities Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets, and track progress to ensure financial success and timely completion. Manage intricate contract negotiations. Lead project execution plans by assembling and managing project teams, coordinating internal resources, and assigning responsibilities according to project objectives. Act as the primary liaison among all project stakeholders. Monitor progress and measure project performance, ensuring deliverables align with scope, schedule, and budget. Manage change requests, implement risk management techniques, and develop strategies to limit financial impacts to the projects. Conduct detailed reviews of technical work to ensure high-quality deliverables and compliance with contract specifications. Maintain positive client relationships and prioritize exceptional client service to encourage future work opportunities. Document all project deliverables and maintain comprehensive records, including correspondence and design plans. Mentor and supervise team members on best practices in project management, utilizing Olsson’s Project Management programs and resources. A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field; an associate degree with equivalent experience is acceptable. A minimum of eight years of progressive project experience in a relevant field. Comprehensive understanding of water and wastewater services. A proven history of exceeding client expectations through effective project management. Excellent orientation towards client service, along with strong communication and presentation abilities. Robust interpersonal and decision-making skills, capable of generating innovative solutions to complex challenges.
