Plumber

Overview We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team to help finish a portion of a project in Ft. Worth. This would be a 2-3 week commercial project on a 1099 basis- Roughly 50 hours a week (OT Paid). Will be working with Schedule 80PVC running supply and drainage lines to a wash unit for a newly installed production line. Most of the project will be groundwork, but will have a handful of days working on a scissor lift approx. 12-14 ft above the ground, so please be comfortable doing that kind of work. Start is immediate and will be paid out bi-weekly for hours worked. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution and waste disposal in a commercial settings. Duties - Read and interpret blueprints to assess or plan plumbing installations and layouts - Assemble fittings and valves for installation - Weld or solder pipes where necessary - Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems - Respond to plumbing emergencies promptly - Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, electricians, pipefitters, and steamfitters in installing and repairing plumbing Skills - Proficiency in pipe threading techniques - Ability to weld or solder pipes as needed - Experience in commercial driving for transportation of equipment and materials - Competency in reading and interpreting blueprints related to plumbing systems - Capability for heavy lifting when handling equipment or materials - Skill in assembling and building plumbing systems accurately - Proficient use of hand tools specific to construction plumbing tasks Job Type: Temporary Pay: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour Ability to Commute: Fort Worth, TX (Required)
