Position Title: Assistant Restaurant Manager Reports to: Restaurant Leader Supervises: Team Members/Shift Leaders FLSA: Non-Exempt Department: Operations Revision/Creation Date: January 1, 2026 Pay Range: $14.42-$21.04/ Hourly Position Mission: As the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be a key partner to the Restaurant Leader, ensuring high-quality operations and delivering exceptional guest experiences during operating hours. Key Responsibilities: Deliver fast and accurate service while maintaining positive guest relations and product quality that aligns with company standards. Effectively resolve on-site customer complaints with a focus on customer satisfaction. Conduct routine food safety audits to ensure compliance with health regulations. Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to crew members regarding customer service, product quality, and efficiency. Analyze sales, labor, and inventory regularly, taking corrective actions to achieve financial goals. Handle cash management procedures, including bank deposits, change transactions, and audits. Ensure accurate timekeeping and payroll processing for team members. Maintain facilities and equipment to meet company standards. Monitor inventory levels, food preparation, and order fulfillment to ensure compliance. Track speed of service metrics and address any obstacles to meet service targets. Oversee daily and weekly inventory management and adjust staffing as necessary. Serve as the primary trainer for new crew members, delivering training and ongoing skill development. Conduct performance evaluations and recommend merit awards with Restaurant General Manager approval. Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: 1+ years of supervisory experience in food service or retail with responsibility for profit & loss, scheduling, and employee development. High school diploma or GED. Proven ability to maintain financial controls while effectively training and coaching team members. Strong track record of driving customer satisfaction, financial performance, and employee engagement. Other Attributes: Self-starter with a focus on processes and solutions.
