Description of Responsibilities Conduct various ultrasound assessments, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging. Ensure patients feel secure and informed throughout procedures by clearly explaining each step with empathy. Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver exemplary diagnostic images. Maintain imaging equipment proficiently, promptly reporting any technical issues. Accurately document procedures and keep up-to-date patient records in our electronic medical record system. Remain updated on advances in ultrasound technology and best practices. Education Requirements An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant field. Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred. Certifications Required Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred. Skills Needed Strong technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. Able to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
