Position: Vocational Services Specialist PRIMARY PURPOSE: Develop and deliver vocational services tailored to individuals with occupational and non-occupational injuries and disabilities, utilizing virtual and telephonic platforms as well as a combination of both. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyze medical and return-to-work information to support the reintegration of employees into the workforce. Adhere to all federal, state, and accreditation standards relevant to the serviced business lines (including state vocational rehabilitation and workers' compensation). Conduct job analyses, prepare job offer letters, and establish program agreements with non-profit organizations. Engage with employers and employment resources to identify job opportunities and match clients with suitable leads. ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational objectives. Contribute to the organization’s quality programs. QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Licensing: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is preferred. Candidates should hold certifications as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS), or Certified Case Manager (CCM). Experience: A minimum of four years in job placement and development, specifically with individuals experiencing occupational and/or non-occupational injuries or disabilities, along with at least one year of experience in vocational evaluations or counseling, or a combination of relevant education and experience. Skills & Knowledge: Strong oral and written communication abilities. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and navigating electronic systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with robust organizational capabilities. Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Capacity to produce detailed and accurate written reports. Ability to work effectively within a team environment. Commitment to exceeding performance competencies.
