Description The Consumer & Associate Engagement Specialist facilitates strong connections between our brand, consumers, and associates by creating a positive and engaging experience at every touchpoint. This role manages consumer care operations, leads internal communications, and drives associate engagement through events and initiatives. In addition, the Specialist supports the Marketing and PR departments by ensuring our brand voice is consistent and impactful both inside and outside the company. Position QualificationsRequired: • Associate's Degree in communications, marketing, or related field. • 1-3 years of experience in consumer care, internal communications, or marketing support • Strong verbal/written communication skills • People oriented, creative and innovative Valued: • Bachelor's Degree in communications, marketing, or related field • Competency in visual storytelling, communications, and multi-media platforms (Canva, Microsoft, etc.) • Experience independently planning events, managing budgets, and coordinating vendors • Cooking skills Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesConsumer Care • Manage all aspects of consumer care operations, including the consumer feedback database and consumer support via phone and email. • Resolve consumer inquiries by providing coupons or alternative solutions that maintain a positive brand experience. • Accurately document and maintain records of consumer interactions and transactions. • Develop and distribute monthly consumer reports that highlight trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement. • Works cross functionally with QA, Production, and R&D. Associate Relations • Lead the planning, communication, and execution of all major internal events (e.g., Company Picnic, National Pierogy Day, Christmas Party). • Oversee event budgets and vendor coordination to ensure seamless execution. • Partner with Marketing Communications Manager to support the internal communication strategy by independently executing communications across SharePoint, internal TV displays, and email channels. • Create engaging and visually appealing communications using Canva or similar design platforms. • Lead an internal team to drive associate engagement initiatives and programs that strengthen company culture. Community Relations • Actively participate with the Community Relations Team, supporting initiatives that benefit Schuylkill County and align with the company's values. • Represent the company at community and brand events, including recipe alignment, preparation, and serving. Departmental Administrative Duties • Financial management of personal expenses • Serving as a back-up to the Assistant Public Relations Manager • All other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. • Tech-savvy with strong proficiency in SharePoint and Canva (or similar design tools). • Ability to work under pressure of a deadline and maintain promised deliverables • Experience working with cross-functional teams to achieve a common goal • Highly organized with proven ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and budgets. • People oriented, creative, energetic, and passionate about building connections between associates, consumers, and the community. • Organized and extremely detail-oriented • Strong passion for food and the frozen food industry preferred • Strong creative ability to brainstorm ideas individually and collectively with a team • Successful problem-solving skills and ability to be resourceful • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills are essential • Must be a confident communicator and presenter • Strong knowledge of MS Office computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Work Schedule Monday through Friday with additional hours as needed for emergency or priority situations. Occasional weekend work and work-related travel. Hybrid office/remote work schedule. Position will be posted both internal and external and will remain open until filled.
