The Financial Tax and Estate Accounting Services (FTEAS) division provides fiduciary and court accounting services for trusts and estates, catering to banks, law firms, family offices, and individual and professional trustees across the U.S. As a Senior Manager, you will play a key role in guiding our strategy and ensuring the success of our business. Your Key Responsibilities Conduct technical reviews of intricate trust and estate accountings. Lead teams to guarantee the accuracy and timely delivery of services to our clients. Manage client relationships and ensure their satisfaction through timely and effective responses to their needs. Engage in business development activities, including client presentations and marketing efforts. Prepare estimates for new accounting work, ensuring compliance with EY processes and standards. Collaborate with internal EY teams to foster strong relationships. Streamline operations to deliver high-quality services efficiently. Support a culture of teamwork and staff development. Pursue continuous learning to enhance knowledge of fiduciary accounting and related software. Oversee engagement profitability, staff efficiency, and workload assignments. Ensure timely billing of projects and manage client follow-ups on collections. Skills and Attributes for Success To qualify for this role, you must have: Bachelor's degree. CPA, EA, licensed Attorney, Professional Fiduciary, or CTFA certification. 10+ years of fiduciary or court accounting experience with a proven track record in managing staff and engagements. Strong technical fiduciary accounting skills. Experience in reviewing complex accountings and IRS Forms 706, 1041, and K-1s. Understanding of complex investments, tax concepts, trust structures, and terminology. Ability to interpret trust agreements and estate planning documents. Knowledge of state-specific principal and income laws. Excellent management, leadership, and client interaction skills. Strong business development acumen. Proficiency in software applications relevant to fiduciary accounting. Ideally, you will also have: Experience with complex assets and large trusts and estates. Familiarity with family office structures. Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
