As the Automotive Service Center Manager, you will enhance customer satisfaction, foster retention, and drive both new and existing business growth. You will oversee daily operations focusing on cost control, inventory management, adherence to environmental standards, and, most importantly, safety. We're looking for a dynamic manager with an entrepreneurial mindset ready to take charge of operations, financial outcomes, employee morale, and strategic growth initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess a college degree (or relevant coursework), at least three years of experience in automotive repair, supervisory or mentoring experience, a background in continuous improvement, P&L oversight, and excellent interpersonal abilities. Responsibilities: Recruit, hire, train, motivate, and evaluate staff while maintaining effective scheduling. Deliver outstanding customer service by actively listening and consulting customers. Follow up with customers regarding services requested and estimated completion times. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and provide comprehensive repair recommendations, including creating service orders and sourcing parts. Discuss pricing estimates with customers and promote service specials. Lead, manage, and mentor your team in line with our company’s vision and core values. Oversee all sales, accounting, and administrative functions performed by Service Advisors. Supervise technicians in diagnosing and repairing various vehicle makes. Maintain accurate inventory counts and manage inventory losses. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the facility, adhering to environmental regulations. Handle payroll and maintain records for employee hours and scheduling. Update and submit daily sales reports to Corporate. Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience as a store or service manager. General automotive knowledge. Exceptional customer service skills. Strong communication abilities. Proficiency in POS systems and internet navigation. Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills. Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
