Systems Administrator (Junior-Mid Level) Location: Detroit, MI (Romulus, MI) - Onsite, 5 days per week Employment Type: Long-Term Contract-to-Hire Work Authorization: No OPT/CPT/F1 Interview Requirement: Must be able to interview in person Job Summary We are seeking a Junior/Mid-Level Systems Administrator (Systems Administrator I / Systems Engineer) to support our onsite enterprise infrastructure environment. This role involves installing, managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting compute, storage, virtualization, and Microsoft-based systems within a 24×7×365 operation. The ideal candidate will support both project-based initiatives and daily operations while adhering to established processes and best practices. Responsibilities Install, configure, manage, and support enterprise infrastructure solutions. Support system architecture across compute, storage, virtualization, and desktop environments. Provide on-call/after-hours support as needed in a 24×7×365 environment. Assist with the implementation of technology projects aligned with departmental and organizational objectives. Create, update, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation. Generate performance and capacity reports and assist with planning. Establish and conduct preventive maintenance (PM) schedules. Provide technical guidance to internal teams and contractors. Participate in data center operations, including hardware installations (rack-and-stack). Perform additional related duties as assigned.
