Mechanical BIM/VDC Specialist

If so, we'd love to connect with you! Position Responsibilities: Create detailed BIM models for HVAC ducting, piping, plumbing, and other mechanical components. Identify and resolve interferences among architectural, structural, and MEP elements. Perform file clean-up, set up title blocks, and prepare viewports. Compile files for composite coordination and ensure accurate tagging and dimensioning of models and drawings. Produce detailed sections of models complying with design standards, contract requirements, and regulatory codes. Collaborate with other trade professionals to coordinate mechanical and plumbing models. Represent the company on-site as necessary.Maintain a culture of safety both personally and for colleagues, especially during job site visits. Other related duties as assigned. Experience: Ability to interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, specifications, and construction standards. Familiarity with architectural and structural details impacting MEP installations. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word). Knowledge of relevant Plumbing and Mechanical building codes and safety regulations.
