Responsibilities: • Produce written proposals, cost estimates, budgets, and updates for clients and project managers • Work closely with the construction project manager to oversee and coordinate the bid process for vendors and subcontractors • Inspect the construction site to collect necessary client requirement information • Provide accurate and clear quantity takeoff information to provide a detailed list of materials and assess the total construction costs • Calculate construction materials, product costs, labor, and time to estimate overall cost for construction projects • Place orders and create purchase orders for project materials • Collaborate with project managers and trades throughout the construction process • Participate in client consultations and proposal presentations Qualifications: • Analytical skills, critical thinking, and very strong math skills are essential • Bachelors’ degree in civil engineering, accounting, construction management, or related field is required • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and construction estimating software • Knowledge of data and risk analysis, research methodology, accounting, and estimation metrics is critical • Stellar communication, project management, and time-management skills are crucial • Proficiency with estimating software (Buildertrend and Chief Architect experience a plus) • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills • Strong communication skills for client and team interactions • Positive attitude Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 yearly• Place orders and create purchase orders for project materials • Collaborate with project managers and trades throughout the construction process • Participate in client consultations and proposal presentations Compensation: $75,000-$85,000 per year
