Description Join BAART Programs as a Lead Nursing Coordinator, where your leadership and nursing expertise will play a vital role in our Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Clinic. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated registered nurse who embodies integrity, empathy, and a commitment to excellence under pressure. In collaboration with the Nurse Supervisor and Program/Medical Director, you will oversee nursing coverage and ensure top-notch medical operations for our program. Key Responsibilities: Implement physician's medication orders promptly, including delivery to external facilities. Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations pertaining to medical services. Delegate tasks effectively to certified nursing assistants and medication technicians. Maintain open communication with the Nursing Supervisor regarding any potential issues. Schedule and participate in treatment team meetings, panel reviews, and staff gatherings. Manage nursing team operations, including schedule development, time clock edits, and performance improvement activities. Address and resolve client clinical complaints while managing crisis situations. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with 3-5 years of experience in North Carolina. Experience in substance abuse, mental health treatment, or addiction medicine is preferred. Proficient in record-keeping with a strong understanding of HIPAA and regulatory standards. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work within diverse communities. Sound knowledge of nursing principles, addiction medicine science, and community health resources. Able to follow written and oral instructions, demonstrating sound judgment and initiative. Computer literate with experience in EMR and Microsoft Suite. Must pass a drug screening and background check. Benefits: Attractive salary package.
