Nurse Practitioner - Emergency Medicine - Greenville

Follows established nursing standards, procedures, and practices. Accountabilities Obtains medical histories or performs physical examinations As appropriate to area of expertise, provides health maintenance care for adults, including annual physicals; provides well child care, including screening and immunizations; provides prenatal care and family planning services Diagnoses, treats, and monitors chronic diseases such as diabetes or high blood pressure. Collaborates with physician and other health professionals as needed. Writes orders for the interprets laboratory studies, x-rays, special tests, medications, treatments, and other matters pertaining to patients' care. Prescribes medications and other treatments. Attends meetings as required.
