Job Description

Overview As the Director of Restaurant Operations, you will be the key player in driving our restaurant's success with a focus on profitability, exceptional guest service, team development, and seamless operations. You will oversee daily activities in the restaurant, reporting directly to the District Manager, while leading a dedicated team that includes an Assistant Manager, Hourly Shift Coordinators, and Team Members. Duties and Responsibilities Analyze P&L statements to pinpoint opportunities for boosting profitability. Enhance sales through outstanding guest service, effective team management, and efficient operations. Inspire and direct team members to provide fast, friendly, and accurate service in a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Manage the guest experience by promptly addressing concerns and ensuring operational excellence. Investigate guest feedback to uncover root causes and implement actionable solutions effectively. Engage with the local community to attract guests and execute impactful marketing initiatives. Lead the recruitment and selection process to build a strong, cohesive restaurant team. Onboard and train new team members, guiding them through their certification process. Motivate the restaurant team through effective recognition and appreciation programs. Provide constructive coaching and feedback to elevate team performance and skills. Optimize labor management through effective staffing and scheduling practices. Ensure adherence to operational and brand standards across all functions of the restaurant. Assist with Assistant Manager and Hourly Shift Coordinator responsibilities as needed. Qualifications and Skills Proven experience in restaurant management. Strong understanding of P&L management and the factors influencing restaurant profitability. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet objectives. Demonstrated leadership skills and a strong commitment to guest service excellence.
