Position Title: Clinical Pharmacist 1 Work Location: Remote - PT zone Assignment Duration: 03 Months Work Schedule: Preferably 8-5 PT, no OT needed Work Arrangement: Remote Position Summary: Position Purpose: Define and develop standard and custom formularies for assigned plan. Background & Context: This is a Quality Position to meet with provider groups and discuss Medicare Stars measures and internal program RxEffect. Small collaborative CPS health plan team. Other current staff members available to support and answer questions. Key Responsibilities:Develop clinical criteria for medications, recommend plan design changes, and clinical programs to be initiatedMonitor prior authorization requestsProvide clinical support to internal departments and address clinical related questionsEnsure appropriate quality controls and initiates opportunities for performance improvement in pharmacy/practiceDevelop and implement programs designed to impact DUR for both Medicaid and MedicareDevelop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures for the pharmacy departmentParticipate in the coordination of the Medicare MTM programAssist case management team with members including clinical rounds presentations Education/Certification Required: Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (Pharm.D., M.S.) in pharmacy. Preferred: Licensure Required: Current state's Pharmacist license with no restrictions. Preferred: Years of experience required: 2+ years of mail order, retail, hospital or managed care pharmacy experience or 1+ years of pharmacy residency program experience. 2 years in Quality related role such as MTM Disqualifiers: unable to work in our time zone Additional qualities to look for: Clear communication skills Top 3 must-have hard skills stack-ranked by importance 1 Knowledge of Medicare Stars 2 Communication skills 3 Organization skills
