Job Description

The Shift Coordinator plays a pivotal role in leading the restaurant team to achieve exceptional sales and profitability results by focusing on guest satisfaction, team development, and smooth operational processes. Working directly under the Restaurant General Manager, the Shift Coordinator is responsible for overseeing team members during assigned shifts, ensuring that key performance indicators related to sales, service quality, and operational excellence are met. Key Responsibilities: Profitability Adhere to cash handling and security procedures. Conduct regular inventory inspections to maintain stock levels. Assist with receiving inventory shipments. Guest Experience Inspire and guide team members to deliver exceptional service with speed, accuracy, and friendliness. Team Development Provide ongoing coaching and constructive feedback to enhance team performance. Operational Excellence Lead by example to implement shift plans and achieve operational targets. Ensure the prompt and accurate preparation and sale of products, adhering to service time guidelines. Motivate team members across various workstations during shifts. Analyze restaurant performance metrics to highlight achievements and areas for improvement. Guarantee all operations conform to brand and operational standards. Qualifications: Must be at least eighteen (18) years old. High School Diploma or GED is required; 2 years of college experience is preferred. 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced, quick-service restaurant. Understanding of guest service fundamentals. Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to handle long and/or irregular shifts as necessary to support the restaurant’s operations.
