About the Role As a Clinical Nurse Assessor at Maximus, you will apply your clinical skills to evaluate the impact of various disabilities or health conditions on individuals' daily activities. You will manage complex cases involving both physical and mental health challenges, providing customers with support and understanding. This role offers complexity along with personal satisfaction, and you will receive a tailored training program to ensure your success. Key Responsibilities Conduct assessments via telephone, video, or in-person to evaluate how disabilities or health conditions affect daily living. Prepare detailed Work Capability Assessment (WCA) reports to assist the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in determining benefit eligibility. Utilize your clinical knowledge in a supportive environment, receiving ongoing feedback and guidance. Requirements Valid NMC registration number. Minimum of 1 year post-registration experience in adult or mental health nursing, in or outside the NHS. Right to work in the UK (sponsorships are not available). Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in using computer software to generate detailed reports. What We Offer: Competitive salary of £37,500.
